The SAMMY GLASS Family blessed Truett with a spirit-filled singing on Saturday, June 26th
 The Sammy Glass Family has been traveling in full time music evangelism since 1988. Although their home is a small town in East Tennessee (Decatur, TN), their travels have taken them into most of the eastern and mid-western states. They are on the road between two hundred twenty to two hundred fifty days out of the year ministering in churches, concerts, revivals, camp meetings, fairs, and other various events. The group consists of Sammy, his wife, Gayla, their daughter, Candice (25 years old), and their two sons, Justin (24 years old) and Chris (22 years old). They thank the Lord for His calling on their lives and blessing them to be able to sing and play music together as a family. Their utmost desire is that lives would be changed, blessed, and encouraged for the kingdom of God through their music and testimony, and that in all they do, they would bring glory to God and Him alone.

 ~~"Trunk or Treat at Truett" ~ Sun. Oct. 25th
 Dozens of families had a wonderful time at our annual Trunk or Treat event.
Pizza, games, treats and ice cream!
 Sunday, Sept. 27th 2009 - Homecoming & Old Fashioned Day.
It was a wonderful day of preaching, singing and being with friends.
Thank you to all who made this day such a success.
We thank Dr. Chester Jones for being with us and preaching on our special day.
 Today as we fellowship and worship at Truett Memorial Baptist Church,
we are aware that God always equips us for the responsibility He gives.
Our first priority here at Truett is to "GO & TELL" as Jesus commands us.
Secondly, to be His servants, according to His will, and to outreach to those in our community and the world.
The dawning of each new day gives us a new opportunity to reach someone with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
